Steve,

If my math is right 73 arrived Monmouth with 157 cars, his waycar would have 
been very close to the depot. The center siding had a capacity of 106 cars 
which would have left 42 cars East of the siding switch. If this was the case 
there should have been no reason Conductor Wilson couldn't have thrown off a 
revised soup ticket. 

The dispatcher on duty from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM was Everett Davis who I 
thought was a crotchety ole guy.
