All - First, many thanks to those who contributed bits and pieces to my query to come-up with a more detailed story of 7007 and her wrecked passenger train at Blue Point, NE. I've said it before and I'll say it again, "Isn't this a GREAT Group!"

I'm going to insert and attach two images I have of 7007, one very faded unidentified view of her pulling what might be Train No. 2 (note the wooden head-end cars) and another showing her in the Lincoln, NE, dead line during 1951.

CB&Q 7007  No Other Information

CB&Q 7007  Lincoln, NE  July 1951

And, thanks to Pete, we know what happened to 7007 on the way to the scrap yard. The Corbin Book lists 7007 as having been sold for scrap in June 1953. 7007 and all her sister Class B-1 locomotives were sold for scrap during 1953. They are but memories to us now.....  Best Regards - Louis

Jim and I took several photos of these engines...After I read Mungar's story  "A light came on"...I wonder if 7007 was one of those we saw.  Well, by now you know the answer  yes it was...I still have those pictures...don't know if I can find them....

Pete 7007 was among those engines at Villisca. Last year you loaned me your photos of Villisca, which I scanned. At tached are two images of 7007 sitting in the dead line at Villisca.
