913-914  Wells & French 1896 from standard freight refrigerator cars 5-1905   34’    retired by 1910

Milk Cars

949 Wells & French 3-1887  34’  scrapped 7-20-26

950-956 Aurora 2-1899 36’ & 37’  scrapped or placed in co. service  (950/207345, 952/25000, 954/207346, 956/214150)  1926-31

Does anyone know the year that the last true milk cars were retired from milk service(not baggage cars used in milk service) .see bottom of page 66 in BRHS Bulletin 51 for sample photo of a car that was converted to company service.
