To commemorate winning the Railway Progress Institute's Golden Freight Car 
award for 1966, the Burlington painted one day's output (eight cars) of 
overhauled XM-32 box cars gold with black lettering in December 1966 at the 
Burlington's freight car shop in Havelock, Nebraska. 

 The award was for the most effective promotion of railroad freight traffic in 
America.

       I just got the Athern special edition of these
 cars. Can someone post or send a link of photos of those ten
 cars. Also any more info on these cars. I have not found
