Look for Sunshine Enterprises H-101 "Light cluster asmbly, SD 7/9 CB&Q UP BN, 2ea." The one on my workbench says $3.50. I don't know if they are still making them or even in existence.

However, for the SD-7's and SD-9s, I am trying to determine the best way to model the Mars light and red warning light mounted with a bracket on the front (and back for most of these units) above the headlights and sticking up above the top of the hood.
One option appears to be the Custom Finishing part #256, but it costs $5.95 per headlight. This strikes me as rather expensive at $12 per locomotive for 2 small detail parts (not including any jewel lenses), particularly if one has multiple SD-7/9's. Any suggestions as to an alternative method of modeling and mounting these lights and brackets?__._,_.___ Posted by: Richard Townsend <richtownsend@netscape.net> __,_._,___ |
