Subject: Waycar 14351 at St. James Farm Winfield, ILLINOIS

 

The Forest Preserve Districtd of DuPage County is offering tours of CB&Q waycar 14351

on Saturday, July 9, and again on Saturday, August 13, between 10 and 11am.  A docent

will talk about the operation of the Chicago, Aurora & Elgin Railway through the farm and

about life on a Q waycar.

 

St. James Farm is near Winfield, ILLINOIS, just north of Butterfield Road (IL Rt. 56) on

Winfield Road.

 

The tour costs $5.00.  Make reservations at dupageforest.org or call (630) 580-7025.

 

The 14351 has been accurately restored and is well maintained.
