I ran across this slide on eBay recently: It shows the Q-MILW diamond at Savanna, IL and clearly the diamond is protected by a semaphore signal. But the semaphore appears to be for MILW trains entering the yard but seems odd that the semaphore is on the "other side" of the diamond. The Q main seems to have a standard target signal protecting the diamond as it appears the target signal you can see the back of (over the rear of the E-unit) seems set too close to the diamond to be controlling the cross-over. Does someone have details on this interlocking and the signals? I have another shot of the interlocking from the other direction that shows the signals but it is a capture of another eBay slide that is no longer on eBay. I had never noticed the semaphore in the other photo. BTW, what is the suggested HO model signal to model the Q's standard target signals?
