Tom,

I went to my Aurora Div ETTs for the answer. #7 of October '63 has a footnote on the Mt Morris Spur that mixed carries passengers. #8 of April '64 no longer has that footnote, nor any after that date.

I recently picked up a copy of the book Burlington Northern and Its Heritage by Steve Glischinski. On page 18 is a photo of the "Oregon mixed" ready to head to Mt. Morris. It has a locomotive, three boxcars, a steel reefer, and a 4-axle combine. The photo is dated 1964. Does anyone know when this train stopped running as a mixed. I have a number of Official guides from the 1960's but can't seem to locate this train in any of them, so I have no idea how late it was running.
