There was  "lots more" CNW in Nebraska than the "Cowboy Line" so the list of possible locations is almost endless.

Brian - No. 1356 is a Chicago And Northwestern Railway Company Class R-1 4-6-0 type. If the location is in Nebraska, then the image could've been taken on the now abandoned "Cowboy Line" that stretched across the state into the Black Hills of South Dakota.  Sister locomotive No. 1385 is preserved at the Mid-Continent Railroad Museum in North Freedom, WI. Found this photo at an antique store in a box of family photos taken in Nebraska.  This was the only railroad related photo.  Was wondering if the type of locomotive and engine number is that from the CB&Q.

Thanks for any info.
Brian
