    I did a 40’s era version with the Spectrum locomotive for FW&D and have started to write an article about it.  I will share the draft with you if interested.  It was not that difficult and plastic is easier that brass to modify.  The big effort was to get the “Q” look.  Contact me at: homanfamily@fuse.net.

The Colorado Road by Hol Wagner has good photos of all C&S 2-8-0's Museum of the Rockies also has some photos.

Hi Group,

   I am hoping that someone in the group can help with one of my current projects.I have a Bachman Spectrum 2-8-0 and I would like to back date it to c.1900.

  I am in need of some photos,folio sheets,and/or any other helpful info.Also how hard of a undertaking this would be.I am use to working with brass in 1/4 " scale,so any and all help would be and is greatly appreciated.
