The Quinsippi cars ended up back at the Dells. They've been re-built,more or less like they were, by the Preservation Society. Those cars are the first cars built for the R&GN Ry. after they moved to The Dells in 1953/4, and we used them until we put the new clerestory roofed coaches in service in 1965. The "Masonite" roofs, particularly, suffered badly in storage in Quincy.
The 1952 built #127 was on e-bay last year for an exorbitant amount of money, considering that it probably needs a new boiler. I know that our welder welded up a crack, near the mud ring, in the firebox flue sheet, one night in 1963 or '64. I don't know where the "Diesel" or the gondola went.
There were two "gallows" turntables, about 25 feet long, and I don't know where they are either.
