Obviously the "last word" on the original Denver Zephyr can be found in the 100+ pages, richly illustrated. A big thanks to John Schultz for sharing some of the results of his many years of research AND to Dave Lotz for the editing job, fleshing out the final effort. If you have never edited anything, believe me it is a tough job! For those of you on the sideline who have yet to join BRHS, why wait? The value of the Bulletins, Zephyrs and Data sheets outweighs the Dues (less than a dime a day!) not to mention better prices @ Spring and Annual Meets and occasional special offers. And lastly, the sense of doing your bit to preserve the CB&Q in print while there are still some living ret'd employees and Q fans who predate spring of 1970. Will YOU give them "voice" or just be a non-paying sponge on the sidelines? A lot of RR Historical Societies have 'bittenthe dust' due to lack of members and/or the need for even a few very dedicated fans to 'carry' the rest.. CB&Q is a "fallen flag" - don't let BRHS become one as well!
