Yes, the 9726 was assigned for some time to trains 16-17, the daily run between Lincoln, Ashland and Sioux City.  Attached are two views of the motor in that service.  I also have an earlier view, also attached,  of 9726 at an unknown location.  Anybody out there recognize the depot partially visible in this photo?

I acquired this photo of Doodlebug 9726 when I was Chairman of the South Sioux City Chamber of Commerce. It was in a file folder of old unmarked photos.  Date and photographer are unknown.  Judging by some of the landmarks I can only assume that this photo was taken in front of the CNW depot located on the South end of South Sioux City NE.  I have also attached a photo of that depot for reference.  My question is, does anyone have info as to whether this doodlebug was actually assigned to the Ferry - Ashland run and or the Ferry - O'Neill line run.
