I don't know if anyone is working on a dedicated motor car bulletin.
I have submitted a complete article on the Sterling Motor Car. It is an in depth study of how this run operated and what was handled other than passengers. The source of most of the information is the BRT/UTU files from the approximately 1925-30.
This particular run operated 16 hours a day over branch lines in Northern Illinois that are now all gone. It's a first hand look at the job from when the motor car replaced the steam run until the motor car came off. What the article needs are more photos of motor cars at any of the following Illinois stations:Earlville,Sheridan,Paw Paw,Amboy,Sterling,Shabbona,Rock Falls.
Also there will be a short discussion of motor car operations on the Fox River branch in my article on mail,baggage and express on the dinkies.

Nolen, the news about Randy Daniel's possible book is exciting. I
will be happy to wait for it. The waycar book was worth the wait
(though I haven't yet studied it in the detail it deserves...)
