While going thru Bob's non-Q calendars, found some GN & NP plus 2 near-mint CB&Q:
1966 (last one issued) showing stopped Q freight with 6 brand new pieces of rolling stock (86' box, ins. box, Brex, b/h flat, etc all brightly painted in Chinese Red, reefer green, yellow, etc) while blunt obsv of DZ goes by - beautiful color with some cattle in foreground (before Naperville was fully developed) - complete with all months
1958 the famous view from the bluffs in Burlington, IA overlooking the 2 track Mississippi bridge looking easterly. Tail end of a LONG freight with an NE12 or 13 waycar coupled to one of the unique short baggage cars Q used on some freights heads East while a passenger train led by E's is coming off the bridge into Burlington. In the distance (Illinois) you can see the 3 or 4 unit F set leading the frt. This only has months Oct thru Dec
