I'm not sure exactly what you're asking, Nelson. Bill Glick's book of passenger car diagrams has good, large-scale drawings of all(?) the Q's passenger trucks, including all those you list. Since I haven't looked into this with much care, I'll be most interested in what other modelers say about the available choices. Jonathan ---In CBQ@yahoogroups.com, <ku0a@...> wrote : The Q used their own identifiers for trucks. I have the freight car cross-index chart, but I don’t have one for passenger trucks. After some research, I need the following passenger car trucks (or close approximations) for my passenger car fleet:
3D, 5C, 5G, 5H, 5K, 5L, and 5M
Is there a cross-index for Q numbers and Pullman numbers? Do any of the Walthers Pullman trucks come close to any of the Q trucks? Are there other commercial truck options for these Q trucks?
I’ve tried photo matching, but many of the passenger car photos don’t show enough truck detail to be helpful.
