Division Point is also been talking about making these as a set or as individual cars for some time.  If they make them, they will be beautiful, but very expensive:

Precision Scale has announced they will be producing the General Pershing Zephyr in HO. They are producing dining parlor-observation cars 300, 302, and 303 as separate cars from the complete set.
