No question that it is DG. It is the Twin  Cities Zephyr wreck that occurred on 04/03/1947. I have a series of photos that my dad took on the day after when this was photo was taken. There are also a series of photos of the wreck on the Tribune website or there was at one time. I have a copy of the ICC report if you are interested.
