Thanks for the reminder about the information about the CB&Q stock cars found in Mainline Modeler.
The article you reference written by Ed Martin in the September 1991 MM (pp. 24-27) also references an article about "Q" stock cars by Hol Wagner from an earlier MM, the June 1991edition (pp. 75-79). That edition also features drawings of the stock car. A careful look at the table of contents also shows that the September 1991 issue has a drawing of the car by Robert Hundman on p 47.
