My dad and uncle hired on with BN in the mid 70's and the section house in Hyannis, NE was still used by the foreman at that time. Part of their job was to mow the lawn around the house. It was longer in use by the 80's and torn down. My uncle salvaged the kitchen cabinets and countertops and uses them in his garage. There are still several standing in Western Nebraska and South Dakota. I have attached a photo of the depot and section house in Orella, NE from the 1910's and the present day photo of the section house.
