All - The TRAINS image of WP 402 passing Downers Grove may still be in  
existence in TRAINS' photo archive. That's one image I'd like to see posted.

Trains magazine had a letter and a photo of WP 402 in the RPO section -  
letters to the editor back in
1948 or '49.  The date of the magazine would confirm the date of  402's 
appearance at the RRF.
Photo was taken at Downers Grove IIRC and the locomotive is freshly  
painted.  She is identified as
Western Pacific's "Cinderella", which might not have been accurate for an  
oil-burner.         PAW
