I am looking for an HO scale brass passenger car that I would like to purchase. It is an Oriental Limited CB&Q Pre-War Flat Top Budd Coach -- these are not listed in the Brass Price & Data Guide, but I have an Oriental Limited model of "Silver Dome", and have been told that some of the flat top coaches (i.e. the ones that were not converted to dome cars) were imported at the same time as "Silver Dome." I believe the prototype numbers were 4703, 4704, 4707, 4708, 4710, 4711, 4713 and 4715. Nos. 4709 and 4714 were the cars that were rebuilt with domes. If anyone has or knows of one of these that might be fore sale, please contact me off list. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. Ken Middleton Portage, MI krmiddle@charter.net |
