Railroad Model Craftsman carried the plans for the Aeolus 4000.
No plans for the 4001 were ever published.
The 4000 had a conventional open cab and small front air intake vents 
while the 4001 had a vestibule cab and large air intakes. There were 
other slight differences.
Given the need to get to controls in the cab for live steam I'd suggest 
the 4000 would be a better choice.
