As far as I know, the first roller bearing cars on the Q were the last ten
class HT-10 70 ton hopper cars built in 1949. They were painted orange to
differentiate them. They had "roller bearing packs" in conventional Bettendorf
truck frames.

When did the Q start changing over to roller bearing trucks?
Thanks.
