Subject: [CBQ] Silver Peak and Silver Mesa conversion

The BN Passenger Car book by. C. Rudisel indicates that Silver Mesa and
Silver Peak were converted from Baggage Dorm Coaches to full 88' 8" baggage
cars (with vestibules) in 1958.

Is it likely then, that Burlington used Q's Aurora shops to do this conversion
or would Burlington have sent the cars back to Budd at Red Lion for the work?

Thanks for any input.
Hubert
