I checked the most recent version that I have (2009) of Dan Glasure's Brass Model Trains Price & Data Guide, and it doen't list either of these in either HO scale or O scale. I would have to guess that neither has ever been produced commercially. There is an HO scale R-1 2-6-2 listed that says it was manufactured by Nickel Plate Products and imported by Models West (could these be turned around?). It says there were 100 imported in 1984 and that they were factory painted and had can motors. The MSRP is listed as $140, and current value (as of 2009) was $300. I don't believe I've ever seen one of these, but am just reporting what is listed in the book.

Subject: [CBQ] HO Brass -- P5 and R5

There are two icons missing from my collection -- both with pure
"Burlington" personalities --the R5 and the P5.
These boxy, unpretentious old locomotives were so uniquely Burlington that
no CB&Q collection could be considered complete without them, and yet I have
never been able to find either one.

Does anyone know where I can find brass models of either or both of these
engines?
