Attached are two views of the ramp-type coal chute at Brookfield, including the shot of 6126 from the Corbin book.  I'm also sending views of the similar chutes at Holdrege, Neb., and Creston, Iowa.  The Creston view, from the local newspaper, will be sent separately, as it's a large file.
 
The Brookfield chute was replaced in the late 1930s with a steel Ogle chute.

Hi to all,


   Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.I was going through the book Steam Locomotives of the Burlington Route.In it there is a 1928 photo of the coal dock at Brookfield.I am in hopes that someone on the list may have some photos showing some of the chute details.
  I am working on a coal dock that is a cross between the C&S narrow gauge docks and the one at Brookfield.Any help would be greatly appreciated.
