Hi All. My brother John found this Burlington Coal mine directory which I put in the files section. It shows some neat pictures of local coal mines served by the Burlington and the Flamingo Mine near Fairview also served by the M&STL. It is 3 parts because of the size. You might note that some of the pictures have been airbrushed to probably show a cleaner plant. Not sure of the date. Someone who knows more about the Q might be able to put a date on it by looking at the Mine names, owners or Burlington officials in the back. Missing is the Sunspot Mine near Vermont unless it is was renamed Key Mine or not in operation at the publish date. I'd really like a map showing the actual locations of the mines. Thanks for any help. Roger Kujawa Morton, IL. ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
