Hello John, Bryan and All -
Check out BURLINGTON BULLETIN No. 17 for a full history of business/office cars on
the CB&Q et al.  This includes photos of both sides of the "Burlington" along with a floor
plan and side elevation drawing.      PAW

It is my understanding that Kato used "Burlington" as the prototype for their model. From my research, it appears to be fairly accurate. The only major issue that I see is that the prototype did not have a herald on the rear platform like the model does. The car was built by Budd.

I have a Kato model acquired a few years ago of a stainless steel CB&Q business car named "Burlington."   How accurate is this model?   I looked at photos of a Shoreham Shops brass model, and the Kato model looks pretty good.   Where did the prototype come from?   Was it built by Q shops?
