Glen - Wymore Division AFE 38200-44 - Retire Signal at Nebraska City April 6, 1951. Retire Junction protection signals. - Automatically operated signals have been in service a number of years protecting a section of track including hand operated junction switch at Nebraska City, Nebr. First Class trains were operated in this territory at the time such signals were installed but have since been discontinued so that the only movements now made over this trackage are second class trains and yard operations, all of which are governed by Rule 93. Present operation make the continued use of these signals unnecessary, and it is therefore recommend that the signals be removed, which will result in an estimated annual maintenance savings of approximately 600.00 I hope this is of some help, I would have supplied this earlier, but since I can no longer work, I have a very busy schedule, or so it seems.
