[CBQ] PA15 Power-Generator Cars

Does anyone know how long this series of cars (7200-7205) lasted in commuter 
service?  I was thinking of getting one of the NKP kits of this car and wanted 
to know if it would fit in with my future modeling plans.  Would one of these 
cars been run in a train after the 1965 delivery of the cab control cars?  I 
like the look of the 7300 power-generator cars, but I am unaware of a kit 
offering if this series.  I have seen photos of these cars in consists with cab 
control cars, but not with the 7200 series.
