Tom - thanks for the information.
 
Catching up with Loren in the BRHS was a special bonus for me.  Loren and I bowled together in Aurora when we were only 8 or 9 years old.  Always a wonderful guy, and very willing to share his vast knowledge of the "Q".  We got back in touch in 2009 when I happened to see that he was at the same nursing facility as my parents in Aurora.
 
I will truly miss him.

That, Tom, is indeed sad news.

I remember Loren and His mother as both hospitable and welcoming when myself and a couple of BRHS members from up here in the Twin Cities would come down for a meet or to railfan.
It was always a treat to stay in that big old house on I believe Lincoln Ave. in Aurora.
Although I lost touch with him these past few years, I will always think of him as a friend and great "Q"/BRHS person.

Rest in peace my friend.
