I have an HO scale 11 car Oriental Ltd. TCZ that I have mostly finished. I need to make some changes to the truck equalization for better tracking. I operate on layouts with 36" minimum radius with very good track work. The trucks are brass type that have the bolsters soldered to the side frames. I don't want to replace them and/or fiddle with the body bolsters. Has anybody made improvements and what did you do? I'm thinking of reducing the truck king pin screw spring pressure (very strong pressure now) on all the springs or eliminating one spring on one end of each car so one truck can "float". Any thoughts on these ideas? Thanks. Steve Solombrino ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
