Finally a modern highly detailed plastic HO U25C has been announced as coming in early 2014. See Model Railroad News for details: http://www.modelrailroadnews.com/news.html and scroll down to the February 28, 2013 announcement The company's website is http://www.korea-brass.com/new/english/index.php but I could not find an announcement on the comapny's website. There is also a Facebook page worth looking at: https://www.facebook.com/KoreaBrassCoLtd?fref=ts >From all the photos on their website and comments posted to Facebook, it would >appear that Korea Brass does the production work for BLI, so we have examples >of their work in the BLI models out there. We need to make sure that the CB&Q >version is prototypically correct to the Nth degree. And I think the main >difference between the U28C's on the Q and the U25C's was the stanchions. I >need to go back to the excellent Diesel Era aticle on U25C/U28C locomotives >because it outlines the differences. Charlie Vlk - are you working on this at all? I believe you did extensive research on the U25C/U28C for modeling purposes. Tom Mack Cincinnati, OH ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
