All...I am tracing my family history and realize that i have a member of the
"Q". It appears that Melville Forrest Dimmick joined the Q sometime after WWI.
In 1927 he was a "clerk" in Hannibal. On the 1930 Census he was a Yard Clerk
Steam Railway also in Hannibal; 1940 "Ticket Clerk" Louisiana, Pike County,
Missouri, and in 1946 - 1961 the clerk and later Chief Clerk in Fort Madison,
Iowa. since he was with the Q for so long does anyone remember or have stories
about him? I'm also seeking any photographs and his burial location as he died
in 1966 as reported by the SSDI (Railroad Board). Thanks for any help...
