Somebody has probably mentioned it before, but it needs to be pointed out that "Nicknames were FOREVER"...Nobody ever forgot and no mercy was ever shown...If you didn't have a tough hide you were in real trouble on the railroad. There was no political correctness ever.

Some were applied to Snuffy's as well. Most will appreciate my reluctance to identify the real names of these individuals. If a particular nickname appeals to someone, I will explain, to the best of my ability, the causation of the often unflattering "handle".
Goon Belly - Breathless - Velvet - Toot Toot - Slick - Deputy Dog - Babe or Hub Caps - Rabitt - Flash - Cement Head - Cute Little Fella - Sweet Corn - Honest John - Que Ball - Disaster Dan - Bones - Harpo - Cain't Heppit - Ol'Dad - Rigor Mortis - Sport - Meatball - Teddy Bear - Jeep - Bed Sores - Tom Cat - Gentle Ben - Izzy - Fat Boy - Reverend and, one of my personal favorites - Raaalllph. Maybe a few I forgot - but not many. Karl __._,_.___
