These cars were built at Havelock in three groups.  94050-94099 (FM-3) were 
built in 1957, 94100-94149 were built in 1941 and 
94150-94249 were built in 1962.  Bulkheads were fitted to 94054 and 94062 in 
1959, and to 94055, 94063, 94065, 94080 and 94083 in 
1961.  94005 and 94013 were shown in the 1963 ORER to have been specially 
equipped to handle steel rods and coils.
