Rich Eastern Dist. Turntable list shows it as a 100 foot Thru Truss electric powered with a Q-1914-T Center Bearing. It had been built in 1917 by American Bridge and originally installed in Galesburg being moved to Savanna in 1928. I was looking at a 1944 AFE drawing for the Savanna Roundhouse area (they were upgrading the sanding facility.) It appears that the turntable was 100' and the roundhouse had 13 stalls! (eight stalls, an opening and five more stalls). Does anyone have a drawing or information on the facilities area? I'm interested in learning more.
