The Q and Wabash interchanged at Chapin just south of Concord on the Beardstown to St. Louis line and it is the only "Chapin" on the Q.

Group, I've got a routing of a routing of CB&Q covered hopper from General Mills in Keokuk, Iowa ultimately headed for Buffalo, NY.

The routing simply says CBQ/CHAPIN.

Any ideas on where/what Chaplin is?
There's a Chapin, IL where the Q crossed the Wabash, but sending the car there from Keokuk by way of the CB&Q doesn't seem to make much sense.
