Hi all: Can anyone out there give me any info on the combined Nebraska Zephyr-Kansas City Zephyr. I think they ran on the same schedule and train from Chicago to Galesburg where they were split. One section to KC and one section to Lincoln. I think they were combined to go to Chicago if both trains were on time. Can anyone give me any more info on the consists between Chicago and Galesburg? Was there a lot of switching at Galesburg? How long would they wait for the other section before running two trains? Here is a link to the combined train from Chicago to Galesburg. 7.Nebraska Zephyr-Kansas City Zephyr Colossal combined BN passenger train from Chicago to its separation at Galesburg. 1.Kansas City Zephyr BN Chicago to Kansas City. 2.Nebraska Zephyr BN Chicago to Lincoln, Nebraska. http://www.eurekaencyclopedia.com/index.php/Category:Named_Passenger_Trains Thanks!
