Those are not steel ties but a couple of the tracks in the background have concrete ties. Steel ties have a raised area in their center. http://www.locophotos.com/PhotoDetails.php?PhotoID=126609 Also, a trip to Leadville, CO this month turned up a few ex-CB&Q cabooses on the LC&S, ex-BN 10008 (Q 13698) and 10013 (Q 13703) The 10008 looked OK but the 10013 was a burnt out shell after a transient lit a fire inside to keep warm and the fire got out of control.
