I heard that he was having problems finding a publisher that would not edit out most of the detailed information that he painstakingly came up with to write what would (hopefully will) be the definitive history of the Zephyrs on the CB&Q.
It was rumored that he had been working with Hundman Publishing but that was just before Bob folded up the magazines so I doubt anything will be forthcoming from that quarter. Maybe the success of the CB&Q Waycar book will throw some encouragement towards moving the project forward again. I know I would have to buy a set of books even if the $$$ was high.

Subject: [CBQ] Schultz Zephyr Books?
I pulled out Bulletin 22 today to answer a question posed on the IRM list about the Train of the Goddesses and noticed that the text was drawn from "Burlington Zephyr books currently in progress." Did this/these books ever come out in some form? The author on the article was J.W. Schultz.
