I believe that some retail book dealers have clear plastic tubing for covering and protecting books.

I finally bit the bullet after figuring out that you can’t get book covers in consumer stores. Decided to get a 100 yard roll 14” Wide as that will cover most all books in my library.
Darn you, Randy Daniels……most books I didn’t really worry about protecting…now I will be covering all the books in my library!!!!!
