In viewing the Jim Ewinger photo of Motor 9816, page 53 and Wilbur St. Peter
photo of Motor 9849, page 39 (Spoor's CB&Q in Color, Volume 3) there is a
vertical pipe like stack on the roof just to the engineer's side of the
headlight. Can anyone tell me what that is? Also the curved radiator like
piping just ahead of the exhaust stacks. Was that a cooling system for the
compressed air exiting the compressor?
