Dear Dave:

Currently, I'm looking for a color photo to use for Volume 5 - Iowa and
Minnesota, in my series: "A Railroad Atlas of the United States in
1946".

I recall the fact that the Burlington Route Historical Society kindly
allowed me to use that beautiful Don Ball color photo of a Burlington
steam locomotive passing the CB&Q tower at Mendota, Illinois for the
cover of Volume 4 - Illinois, Wisconsin and Upper Michigan.

  I thought that I'd inquire whether the society has, in its color slide
collection, a picture of a Burlington steam locomotive passing a signal
tower in either Iowa or Minnesota?
