[CBQ] re: GP-20 on point

I have seen in several of my dads CB&Q slides lashups of solid GP20s, and a few shots dad took with a brace of a pair of GP-20s "bookending" a pair of GP30s in the middle, i.e. GP-20, GP-30, GP-30, GP-20.

I was doing some online research on GP-20's and what they were commonly MU'd with. I was surprised to see that in almost every photo on a couple of sites that they were on the point, often with a GP-30 behind it. Is this just the luck of the draw with the photos I found or was there a reason you would have GP-20's leading?
