All,

the JC's are in charge of the Locomotive, yes as a joke MD 2020 is still there, would be like pulling ducks teeth to get them to change the sign, as it was in their cosmetic restoration of the boiler skin.  But they did not do a bad job so maybe in the future the sign will change.  The MD2020 will not leave. (A strong Morgan David Wine the strongest that they made) I will approach about sign.

Are the odd numbers MD2020?  I saw it in 1985 with those numbers and assumed they stood for Morgan David 2020.  It was popular with kids, kind of a wine cooler I guess.

Over the years I've threatened several times to take my Magic Marker to that plaque, cross out Mohawk, and write Northern. But I've never carried thru with it. Maybe that'll give me something to do this afternoon ;-)

By the way, those odd numbers below the headlight I am told are the birth dates of the 2 young men that repainted her at one time.
