Dave,

When you drive between Hannibal and Quincy on the highway around the east side of town, you quickly notice how steep the bluff is where the highway cut penetrates the bluff. It is quite impressive. I will be traveling it, tomorrow.

Phil,

I've pulled up a couple of Mapquest satellite images and in the Close-up, I'
ve marked what appears to be where the connecting line was prior to 1947.
The Current Satellite shows the curves headed up the bluff that Phil speaks
of.

Dave
