5632 was definitely on the "Oregon Turn" excursion June 24, 1961 (a Saturday)
because I rode it and have photos to prove it. 5632 did operate again on the
OT, like you mentioned, the following year (exactly) on June 23, 1962. There
was at least one more OT excursion with the 4960 June 26, 1965. The OT was a
regular 6-day "wayfreight" assignment for Aurora Division crews, scheduled to
operate Monday thru Saturday. Saturday steam excursions were rare for the most
part as the "Steam Program" typically ran excursions on Sundays due primarily
to equipment availability.
