Guys-

Just wanted to tip you off to a great new product that is now available thanks to the magic of Rapid Prototyping….

Eric Cox, a modeler of N Scale Civil War-era equipment agreed to make No.7 (wood beam waycar and others truck) and No. 2 (wood beam passenger car truck).

They are available for sale directly through Shapeways, a RP outfit under his Panamint Models brand.

The trucks are cast in a semi-clear acrylic plastic and readily accept Atlas plastic wheelsets and equivalents.   To install the wheels it is best to pop them in flat with the truck frame (don’t angle the first end in and then snap the second one).

Here is the link for the Panimint Models Shapeways Shop that has  the CB&Q trucks (T57p and T52p)

http://www.shapeways.com/search?q=panamint+models

There large photos of the trucks on the site and the detail is incredible…. Now all we need is waycars and other bodies to put on top of them!!!

Eric has a wide range of link and pin couplers and really old style trucks and nice Fox Trucks in case you have any need for them.

Charlie Vlk
